Will You Survive
Or will you be turned?

Name: San Sanghee
Age: 22
Date of birth: June 1st
Place of birth: Paris, France
Face Claim: Yeeun of Wonder Girls
Before the outbreak: Sanghee was a talker, a singer, and a person that loved to run for fun. She would never study for her college classes and she still would get A’s in all of them. It wasn’t that she was slacking off, it was just that she didn’t like to study.
When she was younger, her father secretly taught her martial arts like her brother because she wanted to learn to defend herself from “monsters” that lurked around her in school and in the dark. She had a lot of friends, family, and even had a girlfriend. Yep, a girlfriend. Sanghee played both sides of the playing field of love, but it seemed that girls were more attracted to her than guys. Maybe that’s why she got the nickname “SanSang Oppa” from all her guy friends. Of course, she didn’t mind have a boyfriend once in a while when she can.
She was rarely a loner. She always had someone beside her during the day or had her day planned out to where someone was hanging out with her. Sanghee is a well-known artist in France but she moved to Seoul when she was only 18. She had become an artist at the age of 17, a very young age for an artist in France.
During the outbreak: Sanghee was working on some song that she had written up days before. She had finished up a piece of art and now she was just relaxing and doing some things she usually does: eat. Her girlfriend had broken up with her weeks before because Sanghee was too dorky and it just wasn’t her style. Sanghee was sad about it but after a few days she moved on. When she went to the kitchen, it was then when she heard a scream. A piercing scream of terror. She looked out of the window and her eyes widened. Zombies… biting people, destroying them like nothing. Yeeun lived with her father because he was sick so he had ran up to her and pulled her away from it. “It’s not safe Yeeun. You need to run. Anywhere but here.” He had told her and pushed her out the back door with his two katanas that he had made himself when he was on a business trip in Japan.
Sanghee didn’t want to leave him so she pretended to run and ran back and watched the horror of them killing her father. She gasped in shock and saw them stare at her. She had to run. Anywhere but her like her father said. She then grabbed her backpack that was full of her two journals, a sketchbook, pens and pencils, and the two katanas on her back and took off running. She ran as fast as she could and she was able to make it to her black motorcyle that she now uses to drive around when she needs a quick getaway and such. She sleeps on top of rooftops mostly now and she had stopped talking so much. The trauma left her in a huge state of shock that was probably never going to leave.
Personality: Sanghee rarely speaks. She has developed insomnia and there are times where she will seem so exhausted that she looks like she would pass out but she just won’t sleep and then there are times when she just can’t sleep. She still will attempt to talk to you only if you talk to her first and she knows you well enough to speak to you, but if you expect her to talk to you, that will be a long time before it happens. Sanghee also has a “dark side”. A nice personality always is scary when they’re pissed and Sanghee was a fine example when a walker would attack someone she knows or even attack someone so young and/or innocent.
Additional Information: She always writes about her day in her journals. Whether it’s about what she ate (if she ate at all), if she moved to a different spot, if she had to steal some parts to fix her motorcycle, or if she had to fight off walkers to keep her life. She also sketches people she meets. If she really likes a certain person, they will be drawn the most out of everyone she meets.

Victoria ran through the streets, avoiding the things trying to grab at her shirt. She quickened her pace as a walker started to get dangerously close to her. Victoria held a firmer grip on the crowbar and swiftly turned around, smashing the walker’s head. Walking backwards, she turned around again and sprinted into an alleyway, not caring about the horde following her. All she needed right now, was a safe place to hide.

Para Sample *This must be in character and at least one lengthy paragraph*:  (This is from a current RP i’m in ^^) Running. That’s all Yeeun really could do is run. She didn’t know where she was going, when she should stop, or if she wanted to stop. Being chased by the government was not an easy task. They wanted her for her abilities, her intelligence, the way of life that she is and the way she will forever will be. A mutant. “Yeeun!” She heard someone yell and she turned her head back, seeing her lover, her soul mate, Sunye. She stopped for a second to grab her hand and they held onto each other’s hands tight while they continued running, slowly losing air out of their lungs as they had reached to the cliff where the government base was located. “We have to jump Sunye,” Yeeun said breathlessly. “Get on my back, I’ll.. I’ll try to fly.”

“You think you can do it?” Sunye said worringly, rubbing Yeeun’s back. Yeeun nodded and Sunye wrapped her arms around Yeeun’s neck. Yeeun let out a deep breath. I have to concentrate on flying. Nothing else.. She felt a kiss on her cheek and she smiled lightly before jumping off the cliff. She knew Sunye was freaking out a bit but she didn’t pay attention. They were so close to the water when Yeeun finally flew close to it and then went straight. She was able to put her hands in the water while flying. Man, was she glad that it was able to work out.

Name: Yim Shi Chul
Age: 22
Date of birth: November 5th
Place of birth: Ulsan, but moved to Seoul when he was young.
Face Claim: Kwon Ji Yong/G-Dragon from BIGBANG
Before the outbreak: Shi Chul was born in Ulsan, but after the death of his father as he passed away due to cancer; he and his mother moved to Seoul where her family lived at age 11. Then he met Jonghyun and Yunho, and they became good friends ever since they were young. They went to school together, and hung out together whenever they could. Thanks to them, he finally was happy. Shi Chul got an education, went to college and worked a part-time job to support himself and his mother. Of course he went out and had fun; though sometimes too much fun as he had a knack for drinking too much. Fortunately for him, he didn’t drink the day before the nightmare began.
During the outbreak: He was working at his part-time job of being a cashier at a small convenience store, like he always did, when a seemingly sick person walked in. His manager went over to aid the person, but then they bit him and began to eat him. This caused panic in Shi Chul’s mind, and he realized this person wasn’t human anymore. The now zombie went after him, and he managed to escape. That’s when he saw the place was being overrun by those creatures. He had no other choice, but to survive, and hope that his mother and his friends were safe.
Personality: Shi Chul seems like your average guy, he’s nice, polite, friendly and caring of his friends and family. Though it’s best not to piss him off, he has a bit of a temper. He doesn’t get angry easily, but certain things set him off. Like if you try to hurt him or those he cares for, you better run. Now with the zombies, his patience and temper have shortened, so he is quick to anger.

Name: Choi Min Ho
Age: 17
Date of Birth: May 22
Place of Birth: Busan, South Korea
Face Claim: JR (Kim Jong Hyun)
Before the outbreak:
MinHo was a kind person who grew up with his grand-parents in a surprisingly luxurious apartment in Seoul after losing his parents to a house fire in Busan when he was only two. He recalls nothing of them. His grand-parents never told him about them because he never bothered to ask. He didn’t want to know.He had a girlfriend who lived two floors below him, her name was EunJi.His grand-parents said that they were such a perfect match, and even expected them to make it past college, because they were always seen laughing, acting silly, they were always happy. His girlfriend was his whole world. He loved her to no end. She was the reason why he never had anything bad to say, he never had a negative outlook on life; she made him even kinder and better than he already was. What EunJi and his grand-parents didn’t know was that he was secretly learning how to use all sorts of weaponry with stealth and precision- from pistols to varieties of swords. He knew something was about to happen, he could feel that everything was going to take a sudden turn for the worst. He was already anticipating that.
During the outbreak:
MinHo was in the basement of the apartment building, training, yet again, when a loud bang and shrill scream from several floors up distracted him.Fearing that it was from his grand-parents’ room, or even his girlfriend’s, he ran.The elevator signaled that the doors were about to slide open on his girlfriend’s floor when he noticed the foul stench of blood and freshly killed bodies. He feared for the worst and jumped out of the elevator, with his pistol in his hand and his other weapons hanging around his body, it was his Special Operations Assault Rifle, which he found in his grand-father’s closet by accident the night before, and his AK-47, which he secretly owned. He saw blood everywhere. Bodies all over the floor, not just bloody, murdered bodies, but bodies that looked as though they were partially eaten from. He was slowly losing it…
Then, he arrived at his girlfriend’s apartment, the door was unhinged and bloody, he sank onto the ground… there she was… well, there was the upper half of her body. Her face was frozen into an expression of fear and despair. His blood boiled with anger. A level of anger that he never experienced before.
He was standing in front of his apartment… there were his grandparents. The bloody pile of flesh and bones that used to be his grandparents…Feeling the bile rising in his throat, he threw up on the ground then he made a run into his room for the essentials and dumped them into his satchel. He put in his ammo, his spare cartridges, some clothes and toiletries, other weapons and then sped out of his apartment and into his yellow Hummer - a gift from his grand-parents, even though he didn’t need it. He was right about everything going wrong… he could see all over the city. There they were… Walkers.
Personality:
After losing everything dear to him, his angelic self ebbed away into nothingness… He became cold, angry, un-caring, only concerned for himself…He lived with something he told himself: “It’s kill or be killed, kid. If you get attached, you die. Live like everyone’s your enemy and look out for no one but yourself. The world’s a cruel place anyway.”He admitted that it was harsh, but he needed to be bitter if he wanted to survive, any one who tags along is just like extra luggage.
Additional Information:
After realizing that there were survivors out there, he started to put a game face on, to convince people that he wasn’t as harsh as he looked, though he only did that for his convenience…

Name:  Park Yunho
Age: 23
Date of birth: February 20th
Place of birth: Seoul, South Korea.
Face Claim: Kang Daesung/D-LITE from BIGBANG
Before the outbreak: Yunho was not your average 23 year old male. Normally, men his age would be out and about; go clubbing, drink, and screw around then somehow manage to get to their college class the next day with a hangover. Yunho was not, by any means, like that. Right after high school, he moved out of his parent’s house and moved into his own apartment with his girlfriend. Naomi, who was a Japanese transfer student and has lived in Korea for 3 years at this point, was Yunho’s everything. He’d bend over backwards for Naomi, do anything for her. He wanted her to be the happiest girl in the world, and she was, no doubt. They were in love, inseparable; about a year of living together, Yunho decides it would be a perfect opportunity to propose to Naomi. The proposal was immediately accepted, Naomi had tears of happiness running down her face and hugged Yunho typist. From that day forward, Yunho was known as the happiest man everyone knew. He was always happy, known for his bright smile and overly kind nature, as his friend’s and family would tell him constantly (even before the engagement). With being engaged, he also had a pretty successful work life. He was a shift manager at a local cafe. He was every associate’s favorite manager, also the most reliable one working there. After a long day’s of work, he’d return home to his loving fiance. He thought his life was perfect, and it was in the eyes of some people. On July 13th, 2010, the day and year that changed his life, Naomi gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Eri. Yunho was the happiest man on the earth. Life kept on getting better, moving into a nice sized house that was only a few miles away from his work, and everything seemed to only get better for him. With the wedding only a few days around the corner now(2012), nothing could possibly go wrong…could it?
During the outbreak: After picking up his guitar case and slinging it over his shoulder, slamming the trunk of his car, Yunho walked to the passenger door, opening it. His attention was on his 2 year old daughter, “Eri, hold daddy’s hand,” he spoke softly, smiling calming as held out his hand. Eri quickly obliged, nodding and grabbing a hold of her big Rilakkuma stuffed bear then reaching out and grabbing Yunho’s hand. Yunho chuckled under his breath, “Let’s go.” He held onto his daughter’s hand with his life before getting out of their car rather quickly. They walked to the nearest convenience store. Yunho tells Eri to stay close to him, setting down his guitar case on the floor before opening it up and grabbing the sack in the case then start stocking up on random food items he grabbed off the selves, bottles of water, and a few knives. Closing the guitar case, slinging it over his shoulder again, he grabs his daughter’s hand again.
/CRASH!!!!!/
The glass of the shop went flying everywhere, walkers making their way in as some of the other survivors screamed, some made a run for it. Yunho and Eri being one of the ones who made a run for it; Yunho immediately picked up his daughter with his right arm, propping her up properly and holding her close to him as he ran out of the store. Eri clutched onto her father’s shirt with on hand, her lip trembling as she sees the walkers. “D-daddy…I-I’m scared,” She said in a frightened tone, hiding her face in the Rilakkuma bear’s soft, cotton fur. Yunho kissed the top of Eri’s head and made a calm shush noise, “It’ll be okay, Eri…It’ll be okay.”
Personality: Even after the outbreak, he still had his happy-go-lucky, sociable personality. He didn’t want to fall into a depressive state while being with his daughter. Every day, he tells himself not to get upset, be strong for Eri. He wants to keep smiling, just for Eri. To be confident and positive no matter what happens. He just wants to be the best father he can for his daughter. That doesn’t mean he’ll keep his nice personality when a walker tries to act him or his daughter, especially his daughter. If a walker goes after his daughter, a switch automatically goes off in his head, and he goes on a rampage. They always say, “People who have the nicest personalities are the scariest when pissed.”- that goes for Yunho.
Additional Information: ”Daddy, when is mommy meeting us?” Eri asked, hugging her Rilakkuma bear tightly to her chest, looking up at Yunho with her big eyes. Yunho frowned momentarily, fixing the food he tried to prepare over the small, poorly lit fire. He looks at Eri, laughing softly, “Mommy will meet us at the Safe Haven, honey.” He answered, reaching a hand over to ruffle his daughter’s hair. He received a cute giggle from his daughter and turned his attention back to cup of ramen he was holding above the fire, making sure the Styrofoam doesn’t burn. That was a lie. Eri’s mother wouldn’t be joining them unless they died and went to the after life. Naomi was dead. Naomi was at work, being an intern at a local publishing company, when the major attack happened. Yunho will never forget the day he received a phone call, his last one from his fiance(last in general as well). Naomi’s tone sounded hurried, frantic, and mostly… frightened. “Y-Yunho!! I…,” She took an inhale of breath, her exhale was noticeably heard on the phone, breath extremely shaky. “Honey, calm down, I’m dri—,” Yunho got cut off by Naomi’s quick response, “N-no! Yunho, I won’t be c-coming home. I got…bit…,” She muttered the last part, her tone going quiet as she took another shaky, deep breath. Yunho went silent, “Yunho…the walkers around surrounding my office. I will not make it out alive.” Naomi continued, her voice cracking as she was now crying. Yunho’s hand was shaking, knowing that this was their last goodbye. “…Yunho, listen to me clearly. I know you’re trying to sort things out in your head and think rationally. Don’t. Please. My life is over now, so…please…do me this favor.  I know you’ll immediately oblige to this, protect Eri will your life. Tell her every night that mommy loves her, o-oka…y, Y-yunho…?” She was sobbing now and Yunho wishes he was next to her, hugging her tightly, spilling out love and inspiring words, telling her that they’ll die together. But…he couldn’t. Yunho felt lost. The one he loved the most was going to die and he couldn’t do anything about it. “Okay. I know. Naomi?” Yunho tried to keep his calm tone, his hand shaking as he held the phone. “hai(yes)?”
“I love you. I’ll love you forever,” Yunho said and Naomi’s response was a soft giggle, sounding so sad, and before she could mutter back the words, ear wrenching screams were heard and the line went dead. Yunho dropped his phone and parked his car abruptly, thankfully there was no traffic. Getting out of his car, he began screaming, taking out his anger on his car. He punches anywhere on the car, not caring at this moment. He couldn’t protect Naomi, and now she’s food…food for those walkers. She’s dead. After leasing his anger out on his car, which probably had dents in it with how strong he is, he gets into car and hits his head against the steering wheel, tears streaming down his face. He screams obscenities to the steering wheel, trying to hug it close to his body as he was having an emotional breakdown. But, who’s to blame him? He lost his loved one, his soon to be wife. They had the most perfect life and now…it’s shattered. He only had himself and…ERI. Yunho lifts his head and put the car into drive. He drove to the day-care where Eri was at, his heart was racing as he wiped the tears from his eyes. He needed to protect Eri, he’ll protect her with his life. Making a screeching stop in front of the Daycare, Yunho got out of his car and ran up the steps. He barged into the daycare, Eri looking utterly confused as he grabbed her hand, lifting her up and stopping her from coloring in her book. “Daddy?” She asked, holding the Rilakkuma bear in her arm as Yunho ran out of the room, leading her to the car. Opening the passenger door, he leaned down to Eri’s level, looking at her in the eyes. “We need to find a better home, ok?” He said with a smile, acting like there was no attack underway. Eri blinked and quickly nods, climbing into the car. Yunho runs over to the driver’s side, getting into the car and putting it into drive. He drove off to the farthest part of town, at least until his car ran out of gas. Leaving them stranded, but not for long. They made a run for it, running to the nearest convenience store.
—-
“I can’t wait to see Mommy,” Eri said happily, nuzzling her face into the Rilakkuma’s head. Yunho chuckled and sets the ramen cup down, knowing that it’s done since it’s slightly hot to the touch. “Mommy will be happy to see us. You know she loves you, right?” Yunho said, opening his guitar case and digging for some chopsticks he stole from the store a few days ago. Eri nodded and scooted over to her father when he held up the ramen cup again, wanting the food. “Mommy loves both us, un!” Yunho chuckled at his daughter’s adorable-ness. Naomi did love them both, wanted them to be safe. That’s Yunho’s duty; to keep the promise he made before Naomi died. He’ll protect them both with his life.

Yunho kissed the top of Eri’s head and made a calm shush noise, “It’ll be okay, Eri…It’ll be okay.

Name: Koji KitaharaAge: 22Date of birth: 16th July 1988Place of birth: Tokyo, JapanFace Claim: Kazuya Kamenashi (KAT-TUN)Before the outbreak: Koji came from a pretty working-class family, with both his parents working hard to provide for their children. Koji had one older brother whom he relied on to tend to him when his parents were working late. He wasn’t a particularly quiet child but he wasn’t an obnoxious brat, either. He was a happy and excitable child. As he grew into an adult, he became less hyperactive, and more bitter towards the world around him, becoming ever aware of the obvious flaws in society. Koji was accepted into University, and was working hard, as well as studying Korean language at home. He lived in a flat paid for mostly by his room-mate’s parents. All seemed well at that time. Not great, but well enough.
During the outbreak: Koji was left alone after the outbreak. His entire family had died because of the disease, and though his flat-mate locked himself into his bedroom, refusing to come out as he slowly descended into insanity, he was eventually found and rip to shreds by Walkers before Koji’s eyes. Koji decided that the best thing to do was to pack up and leave the country as soon as possible, so as to avoid the same fate as all those close to him. The only other language he could speak was Korean, so it only made sense for him to head straight for Seoul. He could have moved to anywhere else in Japan, but the country held too many memories - some good, some bad but all painful nonetheless. Even though Koji heard about the safe haven in Tokyo not long after his arrival in Seoul, he didn’t want to go back to Japan. And the way things were, it didn’t seem entirely possible. Before he knew it, Koji found himself strolling through Seoul, alone, dirty and freezing, with nowhere else to go.
Personality: Since witnessing a close friend of his being torn to bits, Koji has become a much quieter and more reserved person - an introvert, if you will. And even before that, since his closest family members’, particularly after his brother’s, deaths, Koji became a lot less talkative, too. If he does speak, it’s often with a sharp tongue. Koji has become a bitter man. Bitter, but extremely nervous. And afraid. However, if faced with life-threatening danger, Koji is liable to snap and become a lot louder and a lot more violent, destroying anything that tries to harm him/get in his way.
Additional Information: Koji smokes in order to calm himself, but since he has no cash, normally just steals what he needs. The possibility of him having developed some form of Dissociative Identity Disorder is also highly likely.

Name: Lee Chung Ae
Age: EighteenDate of birth: 7th SeptemberPlace of birth: Taipei city - TaiwanFace Claim: Amber Liu - f(X)Before the outbreak: Chung Ae moved to Seoul, South Korea, when she was only about four years old shortly after her younger sister was born, the family never returned to Taiwan to visit grandparents due to her father being an orphan, and her mother not getting along well with her father. Due to this they had a small, but extremely close, family. She was quiet, yet not shy, just someone who enjoyed holding her words for important situations.
She regularly got bullied for her tomboy appearance, yet this eventually stopped when they realised that, quite frankly, Chung Ae couldn’t give a damn. She naturally managed to ignore the harsh words and whatever else they did to her and just carry on with her life, she made friends who were loyal to her, got decent grades and found herself a boyfriend who she cared for dearly. Life wasn’t exciting for her, yet she was perfectly happy. She was quick to defend her friends whenever someone bitched about them, quick-witted and level-headed, a perfect combination for surviving teenage hood with little to no problems.
During the outbreak: Of course, being quick-witted and level-headed wasn’t going to help her for what was about to come, the day the carnage reached her hadn’t been the most pleasant, she was walking back from her boyfriends house having just split up with him, he had been caught red-handed in a bed with a random slut at Chung Ae’s own house party. All hell had broken loose and for once she lost her cool, he blamed it on being drunk, which only infuriated Chung Ae more. She was trying to hold back tears, not focusing on anything, therefore not noticing where she was going.
Chung Ae tripped over something and stumbled, she frowned, looking back to see what it was and gasped in shock, she had actually tripped over a person! She rushed over to help the person, noticing that they were clearly not very well she tried to get help, but the only help she got was a quick warning from someone across the street, just in time to move her hands back from the gnashing teeth. She fell back and watched, terrified, as the man ran over from the other side of the road and cracked the monsters head open with an axe. That was when she learnt everything.
Barely giving herself time to panic, Chung Ae got to her feet and ran home as fast as she could, wanting to warn them of what she had just seen, however her journey home was only filled with more horror. The one she had seen before definitely wasn’t the only one, luckily for her though there were only a few which she managed to outrun.
When she arrived home she was relieved to see the door still shut and locked, meaning that none had walked into the house, she hastily put her keys in the lock and walked in, ensuring to lock the door behind her. As soon as she had stepped through the doorway she knew something was wrong, her small cat was meowing in distress at her feet, and no one else had come to greet her. Carefully, she wandered upstairs where noises could be heard, she looked into her parents bedroom and only just managed to withhold a scream, there, on the bed, was her dad, eyes lifeless as his torso was being ripped apart by her mum and sister. Unfortunately for her, they noticed her. Releasing a horrible wail, her sister leapt off the bed and chased her, Chung Ae not being able to shut the door fast enough, the two pegged it downstairs and chung Ae wound up in the kitched with her cat, pinning the door shut with the table. Survival instincts kicked in as she packed her rucksack (luckily, ready and waiting ont he table after school) with food, knives and her father’s .45 Long Colt, grabbing all the ammo she could. She looked down at her little cat, not being able to part with an animal so loyal to her, she picked her up and placed her on top of the blankets in the backpack, allowing a gap at the top for her to peek her head through. With that, she left, not knowing where to go, so long as it wasn’t there.
Personality: Despite the current situation, Chung Ae hasn’t lost her cheery demeanour, believing that living in a constant negative mindset will only bring on negative consequences. Obviously she doesn’t believe every optimistic comment that leaves her mouth. She’s still quiet, not talking much, yet is always willing to give a solution to a problem, never losing her practical head. Overall - her personality hasn’t changed much from her previous life.Additional Information: She enjoys telling stories to pass the time and take her mind off things, she had once wanted to be an author, yet jokingly comments whenever someone asks about it that not many people are in the market for books at the moment. She always carries her bengal cat, Poppy, wherever she goes, the cat being small enough to fit into her bag, also obedient and sensible enough to know that this was her best chance of survival (the cat, that is).
